Youth Build

The North Richmond Youthbuild Program provides training, tutorial, and supportive services to at risk youth and young adults, ages 16-24 from North Richmond, with a special emphasis on obtaining high school diplomas and GED’s. The program also provides an opportunity to learn vocational training, construction and apprenticeship skills. The participants work year round with licensed contractors to apply their newly acquired skills to rehabilitating blighted properties in the North Richmond area. Once homes are rehabilitated, they will be sold to a qualified low-income first time homebuyers.
