Façade Overview

Attractive façades enhance business exposure,
improve business images,
attract potential customers,
and increase the value of properties.

Rebates and low interest loans are available for business and property owners in the Rodeo Redevelopment Project Area to improve their storefronts and commercial building façades.

Rebates:

Fund up to 75% of project cost. Maximum rebate of $1,500. Learn about the Rebate Process for Façade Rehabilitation.

Loans:

Loan amount: $2,000 to $15,000

Term: 11 years, amortized over 25 years, no interest or payments during the first year

Interest Schedule:

Year 1 = 0%
Year 2 and 3 = 1%
Year 4 and 5 = 2%
Year 6+ = 3%

Elegibility

• Properties must be located in the Rodeo Redevelopment Project Area;
• Exterior improvements ONLY;
• Applicants can be either property owners or tenants of commercial structures; and
• Eligible improvements include painting, repair or replacement of architectural elements, signs, awnings, exterior wall finishes, doors and windows, exterior lighting, site improvements and architectural or engineering services.

APPLICANTS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS.
